

Lindy Perez
Director of Choral Activities
Lindy Perez is in her 12th year as the director of Choral Activities at
Richardson High School where her choirs have earned many awards at state
and local competitions. Mrs. Perez has been selected four times as the Most
Influential Teacher by top ten graduates at RHS. Prior to teaching at
Richardson HS, she was the Choral Director at Westwood Junior High for 13
years. Under her direction, the Westwood Chorale won numerous festivals,
performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., and was honored
to perform for the Texas Music Educators Association Convention in 1991.
A graduate of Lake Highlands HS in the Richardson ISD, Mrs. Perez earned a
Bachelor of Music degree from Southern Methodist University in 1984. She is
also the director of the Richardson All District Elementary Choir which
performed for the 2003 Texas Music Educators Association Convention. As a
member of the Texas Music Adjudicators Association, Mrs. Perez enjoys
serving as a clinician, judge, and presenter of workshops on vocal technique for
the young singer, throughout the state of Texas.

Elizabeth Moore
Assistant Director of Choral Activities
Elizabeth Moore is in her fifth year as the Assistant Director of Choral
Activities at Richardson High School, where she teaches the Women’s Choir,
Concert Choir, JV Boys and assists with the Acappella Choir. Under Ms.
Moore’s direction her choirs have consistently earned Sweepstakes at UIL
Competition.
Ms. Moore graduated from J.J. Pearce High School in the Richardson
Independent School District in 2001. She received a Bachelor of Music degree
with a minor in Education in 2005 from The University of North Texas. Ms.
Moore is a current member of the Texas Choral Directors Association and the
Texas Music Educators Association.
